Import activity
Upload the files recorded by your bike computer or watch.
Uploaded activities appear in aggregated, anonymous form on the “Most ridden roads” map: a stretch is visible only if at least 3 different people have used it. Your personal roads stay visible only to you.
Works with any device (Garmin, Wahoo, Hammerhead, Coros, Suunto, Apple Health…), with no external account to connect. Download the .fit, .gpx or .tcx files of your activities (instructions below) and upload them here. Up to 20 activities at once; duplicates are recognised.
Where do I find my file?
Garmin (Edge, Forerunner, Fenix…)
- By cable: connect the device to your computer via USB. Open the “GARMIN” drive → Garmin/Activity folder (or Activities): it contains the .fit files, one per activity, with the date in the name.
- On Mac, if the device does not appear as a drive, install OpenMTP (free) and open the same folder.
- On the web: on connect.garmin.com open the activity → gear icon → “Export Original” (downloads a ZIP: extract the .fit before uploading) or “Export to GPX/TCX”.
Apple Health (iPhone / Apple Watch)
- On iPhone open the Health app → tap your profile picture at the top right → “Export All Health Data”. Wait for the export to be prepared and save the ZIP on your computer.
- Extract the ZIP: the workout-routes folder holds one .gpx file for each workout with a GPS route. Upload those.
- Apple Health GPX files do not contain heart rate and do not state the sport: we infer it from the average speed (below about 12 km/h = run or walk, otherwise cycling). To also get heart rate, use a third-party app such as HealthFit or RunGap, which exports FIT files.
Wahoo (ELEMNT)
- Open the ELEMNT app on your phone → Workouts → choose the activity → share or export the .fit file and save it on your computer.
- Alternatively, export from the Wahoo web dashboard (activity menu → “Export GPX”).
Hammerhead (Karoo)
- Sign in to dashboard.hammerhead.io → Activities → open the activity and download the FIT file.
Komoot
- On komoot.com open the completed Tour → menu (⋯) → “Download” → “GPX file” and save it on your computer. For a planned route: open it → “Download” → “GPX”.
- From the Komoot app: open the Tour → Share → export or save the GPX.
- Then upload the files here: up to 20 activities at once, duplicates are recognised.
Coros
- In the Coros app open the activity → menu (⋯) → “Export Data” and choose FIT, GPX or TCX; then save the file on your computer.
Suunto and other devices
- In the manufacturer's app or website look for “Export” on the activity page and choose FIT, GPX or TCX.
The exact menu names may change with app updates. Compressed files (.zip) must be extracted first.
